Pacific, MO – September 12, 2024 – Husky Corporation, a leading manufacturer of innovative fueling products, recently welcomed the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations to its headquarters as part of the company’s ongoing participation in the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP).

Husky Corporation first achieved SHARP certification on September 20, 2010, and has maintained this recognition for 14 years. SHARP is awarded to businesses with outstanding workplace safety and health programs, and Husky remains dedicated to fostering a safe and healthy working environment for its employees.

During the visit, Missouri Department of Labor Director Anna Hui, along with On-Site Consultation Program Manager Daniel Stark, toured the Husky facility with company leaders, including VP of Manufacturing Alan Siedhoff and Executive Vice President Brad Baker.

The tour showcased the safety practices that have kept Husky’s injury and illness rates well below industry standards.

“Husky Corporation is a wonderful example of a Missouri business that prioritizes the safety and well-being of its employees,” said Director Hui. “We are proud to recognize their accomplishments and to see firsthand their commitment to workplace safety.”

Husky Corporation’s leadership expressed gratitude for the continued partnership with the SHARP program, which has been a cornerstone of their safety initiatives for more than a decade.

“We’re proud to be part of the SHARP program since 2010,” said Alan Siedhoff, VP of Manufacturing. “Safety is one of five Key Pillars at Husky. The safety of our employees is our top priority, and our ongoing SHARP certification reflects that commitment.”

Husky is currently coming off a year-long SHARP certification and is eager to continue with the program for another term, underscoring its dedication to continuous improvement in safety and health.
