The Mechanical Engineering Technician performs daily laboratory tasks to assist engineering team in testing and validating various products. Focus will be on carrying out tests in a timely manner and fully documenting and reporting on test results. Strong communication and organization skills required to effectively carry out tasks and keep engineering team informed. Attention to detail is a must.

What you will do:

Utilize mechanical skills to set-up / perform product tests.
Document test results in clear/concise manner.
Effectively communicate with engineers / management.
Must learn Husky product line intimately to be able to understand and test product performance and function.
Work with Engineering Team to troubleshoot problems as they arise.
Gain intimate knowledge of all UL / ATEX / TUV standards and test procedures applicable to various product lines.
Ensure that lab and equipment is maintained in a safe, operable condition – arrange and perform maintenance / cleaning as required.
Visit local test stations in the St. Louis area to check, fix and report on Husky product.

What you need to succeed:

High School Diploma or GED.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Good mechanical skills.

Essential Requirements:

Must work well with others and possess excellent communication skills.
Must have an excellent attendance record.
