Thread sealant now offered with Husky conventional hanging hardware.

Conventional hanging hardware connections are designed with National Pipe Thread (NPT) connections. NPT thread connections require the application of thread sealants to ensure a leak free connection while in service. Husky Corporation now offers the option of convenient 1/8 ounce tubes of Gasoila® brand thread sealant with selected conventional nozzles, swivels, and safe-t-breaks.

Application is simple- Thoroughly mix Gasoila® sealant by moving sealant back and forth in tube with fingers. Tear open end of tube and apply sealant liberally to the male threads prior to assembling connection. Tighten the connection securely and inspect for leaks prior to putting fueling point into service. Discard tube and installation is finished. An MSDS sheet for Gasoila® sealant is available via the Husky website.
